This may be one of the first reproductions of images from Hal Fischer’s Gay Semiotics: Archetypal Media Images. I believe the work was first exhibited in 1977 and a book of the work began circulating in late 1978. Still. Good on SPE for openly and actively showing the work of a gay artist in the 1970s.
